When you use Homestream Services, we know you are trusting us with your information. We understand this big responsibility and work hard to respect your privacy and protect your Personal Information. This Privacy Policy describes how Homestream LLC ("Homestream," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, protects, discloses, or otherwise processes your information in connection with your use of our website located at homestream.io, our product, our services, and/or other communication channels under our control (collectively, the "Services").

At Homestream, we are committed to safeguarding your privacy while delivering exceptional products. We collect information necessary to provide our Services effectively. The specific information collected depends on how you interact with our Services. When engaging with our Services, we may collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with you (your "Personal Information").

Some of the Personal Information identified below may be considered sensitive data under certain laws. If you choose not to provide or allow us to collect some information, we may not be able to provide you with requested Services.

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • Account and Contact Information: Full name, username, password, email address, date of birth, phone number, and postal address.
  • Financial Data: Annual income, source of funds, assets, net worth, home ownership status, employment history, debt-to-income ratio, existing loan information, credit score information, and potential down payment amount.
  • Subscription Information: Subscription and payment information.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages viewed, features accessed, time spent on the site, dates and times of your visits, and flow of interaction within our Services.
  • Technical Data: IP address, device type, browser type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
  • Tracking Technologies: Cookies and web beacons (clear gifs, pixel tags) used to track activity, count visits, and gather related statistics. You may decline cookies, but some Services may not function properly.

C. Information We Derive

We may derive information or draw inferences about you based on the information we collect, including inferences about your location based on IP address or postal code, or about properties you may want to purchase based on your browsing behavior. We may use artificial intelligence, including large language models and machine learning, to derive this information.

2. How We Use Your Information

Homestream stores your Personal Information. We use the Personal Information we collect for the following purposes:

  • General Services: Deliver and personalize our Services, maintain and improve features, repair errors, communicate about products and events, monitor usage, comply with legal/financial obligations, create de-identified data, enforce our Terms, and verify your identity.
  • AI Model: We may use your Personal Information together with market data to generate estimated performance projections from our AI model.
  • Pre-Approval Form Generation: We may use your Financial Data and sensitive data to populate the digital lender packet at your request. The lender packet is not shared with third parties after generation.
  • Service Improvement: We may use aggregated and anonymized data to train and improve our AI and machine learning models.
  • Online Advertising: Partners may collect and use information to help Homestream understand effective advertising and promotions.

3. Sharing, Disclosure, and Sale of Your Information

A. Financial Institutions

We may sell your Personal Information, including potentially sensitive data, to select financial institutions.

B. Service Providers

We employ third parties for hosting, data analysis, and security. They have access only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it otherwise. Website chats may be recorded for quality assurance.

However, no security system is impenetrable. Where you have a password to access certain parts of our Services, you are responsible for keeping it confidential. We cannot guarantee the complete security of your Personal Information.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your Personal Information only for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and in accordance with applicable laws.

Once retention is no longer necessary, we will securely delete or de-identify your Personal Information. You may request deletion by contacting support@homestream.io.

  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Data: Restrict use to what is necessary for providing our Services.

D. California Shine The Light

California residents may request information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for direct marketing purposes by contacting support@homestream.io.

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 18. Contact support@homestream.io with any concerns.

9. Do Not Track

We do not currently monitor or honor DNT signals. We respect user privacy and provide alternative options to manage tracking preferences through cookie settings.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Homestream reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be notified by email or via a notice on the Homestream website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
